I am now the proud owner of Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace 3-D tickets. All mine, and there’s nothing you can do about it. The only thing missing? My 3-D glasses which I will pick up on show day.
The day after I see the movie, I perform my dance. It’s a Star Wars filled weekend, and it’s going to be absolutely fantastic.
Actually spoke to New Guy. I should give him credit. He’s the one who started the conversation, which is noble of him. He did say he wanted to try and be friends, despite us no longer seeing each other. It wouldn’t be the worst thing in the world. He is a nice guy, we make each other laugh, and he’s genuinely pleasant to be around.
I also said I wanted to be friends with my ex. Look how well that one is turning out. However, New Guy and I don’t have to face each other on a daily basis.
I came across this quote this afternoon, said by Angela Martin, an expository expert, and found it all too fitting:
“What do you do when your boyfriend walks out? Shut the door.”
Without going into too much detail, I can pretty much say this sums up a main theme of my life as it currently stands.
A handful have told me ‘No Thanks’ as of late, and I’ve had it. I don’t need a man’s approval to make my life satisfying. That’s why they invented the vibrator.
Oh, it’s too good a joke to resist.
On a different note, I booked my flight to Cincinnati for my spring break, and me and my best friend will be reunited for a few days in the grand ol’ state of Ohio. It may not sound so exciting now, but guess what? We’ll get together and that town will never be the same.
